If you are approaching Dunalastair from the South, follow the A9 to Pitlochry, then take the B8016 via Tummel Bridge to Kinloch Rannoch. Dunalastair is the imposing Victorian building located in the village square. A popular route north from England is M6, M74, M73, M80/M9 to the outskirts of the fair city of Perth, then A9 northwards as above. If approaching from the north, leave the A9 at Calamine and follow the B847 to Kinloch Rannoch via Trinafour. By road we are eighteen miles from the A9.

For Glasgow or Edinburgh Airports allow two hours and for Prestwick, three hours. If you are coming from Pitlochry, we recommend that you stop at Queen's View to sample one of the most spectacular views in Highland Perthshire. If you are travelling by coach or rail, take the coach or train to Pitlochry, then there is a regular bus service to Kinloch Rannoch taking you virtually to the front entrance of the hotel.

There are regular Citylink coach services. Trains run regularly from Glasgow and Edinburgh to Pitlochry and there is a daily service from London Kings Cross.
