Package prices shown are per person, based on 2 people sharing a double or twin room for a minimum of three nights. All prices include the following:

• 3-Course AA Rosette Dinner, Bed & Breakfast

To reserve your Hogmanay break, a payment of 50 percent is required to secure your booking.

'Add a Night' Rate

Why not arrive early, stay a day later, or even both. For those who would love to come to Dunalastair for either Christmas or Hogmanay and stay an extra day or two why not take advantage of our ‘Add-a-Night’ rate? You will be charged only for dinner and breakfast and receive your accommodation with our compliments all for £50.00 per person per night. Beat the rush or extend your break ~ the choice is yours.

December 30

• Arrive from 3pm and enjoy tea and home made tray bakes in front of a roaring log fire
• Join hosts and guests for a welcome drink before dining together in our oak panelled, candle-lit dining room
• After dinner our resident New Year musicians will regale you with an acoustic mix of fine Scottish tunes and songs
  

December 31

• Leisurely breakfast served the Dining Room to set you up for the day.
• 
  Perhaps a hike up Scheihallion or Craig Varr the two mountains on our doorstep. If you’re really luck there may even be snow on them! If you fancy being even more adventurous why not try one of the many activities we can arrange for you here - such as canyoning, white water rafting, clays, etc. We can advise you at your time of booking. Activities must be booked prior to arrival.
• The rest of the day is yours. May we recommend a little siesta to conserve your energy for this evening! No party poopers allowed!!
• LET THE HOGMANAY CELEBRATIONS COMMENCE!!
• Join your new found friends for a glass of bubbly and canapés in the lounge bar.
• Enjoy the culinary expertise of our chefs as we share tales of the year over a 4 course banquet dinner.
• Our musicians will again join us in the celebrations as we get ready to ring out the old/bring in the new.
• If you wish - enjoy a digestif over coffee to ease the body gently into the ceilidh as our musicians gear us up for the bells.
• Strip the Willow, Dashing White Sergeant, Gay Gordon or the Highland Scottische - the choice is yours. Don’t worry about the steps we’ll lead the way.

January 1

• A very leisurely, (quiet!) breakfast served in the Red Room and the Conservatory.
• Blow away the cobwebs with a gentle stroll to the Lochside and to fill your lungs with the fresh Highland air!
• Light afternoon tea is served in the lounge
• Improve your knowledge and appreciation of our fine selection of Malt Whiskies in our late afternoon Whisky tasting session.
• A peaceful buffet supper will be served in the dining room.
• We will test your knowledge of all things Scottish in our “Hootenanny quiz”
• Finally our musicians will send you off to bed with both rousing and melancholic tunes and songs.

January 2

• Full Scottish breakfast served in the dining room to send you on your winding journey home.
• Bid fond farewell to friends and share final memories with us as we wish you “Turas math dhut”
